Ad for Three Heads Brewing
"Ours go to 11."
Background:
Three Heads Brewing was exploding onto the craft beer scene when I wrote and designed this Trade Show ad. 3HB was coupling their beer releases with live concerts and targeting experimental craft brew fans, so I wrote a musical homage.

SOME AUDIENCES JUST LIKE THINGS A LITTLE BIT LOUDER.
At Three Heads Brewing we make beers that play concerts with your taste buds. Soulful hops lay down grooves for citrus solos in 3HB's signature Kind IPA. A chorus of rich malt flavor soars through our celebrated new Cobbs Hills Black Lager. And The Common Man is a singalong of a beer; a craft amber ale that everyone can enjoy. Beer lovers have anticipated each new 3HB release like an album from their favorite band, and after every one they keep clamoring for an encore. Makes sense, considering 3HB has been making a lot of noise: The Washington Post called The Kind a "rare treat," and Beer Advocate rejoiced Loopy, "elevates the fun in drinking beer." So if you like amplified flavor, and award-winning recipes, turn up the taste with a 3HB.
THREE HEADS BREWING. ALES WITH CHARACTER. CHARACTERS WITH ALES.
Alumni Spotlight -- John Resig '05, creator of jQuery
I work to highlight esteemed students and alumni, in an effort to showcase the broad range of talent at RIT. To that end, I created mini-spotlight ads for our website featuring profiles and videos. I also created a Student App Store featuring apps by our students and alums. At left and below is a spotlight of alumnus, John Resig.

John Resig ’05 is the creator of jQuery, a JavaScript library that helps programmers more quickly create dynamic websites that display on a range of browsers. Resig’s library of features fundamentally changed the way we work with the web, helping simplify scripting for browsers and offering companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple an important tool in managing their online presence. He has emerged as a leading figure in tech, publishing popular books like Secrets of a JavaScript Ninja, speaking at major tech conferences like South by Southwest, and serving as moderator for a number of Reddit ‘subreddits,’ including the RIT subreddit that he founded. If you’re reading this on the web you’re likely interacting with Resig’s work with out even knowing it. But that’s okay – you’re not supposed to notice a ninja.
